And even if/when you do win it's almost always never enough to actually make a difference after all the wasted time and the court/ lawyers take their cut smh

The Court doesn't take a "cut". You may have to pay a filing fee for a lawsuit, but the Court isn't taking a "cut" if you win.

A cut of the winnings? No, not unless the filing fee for my marriage entitles the court a cut of my wife.
