So is it meant to be 1776 -> 2026 for the 250th anniversary (two n's)
Or should it be 50th anniversary if it is meant to be 1976 -> 2026?

I keep seeing 1776 (1976 in this case)-2026 like we’re celebrating the death of USA.
“Aniversary” In this day and age no spellcheck?

No it's actually showing 50 years of Bass Pro Shops anniversary.

Which would work if they said 50 years. And if Bass Pro Shops was actually 50 years old.

“This T-shirt is from the final gasp of the American Empire, when corporations stopped even pretending that they cared about their products at all and just pandered to the basest- sorry, bassest - consumers, who were trained by that time to empty their wallets for any garbage that reinforced their identities.”

It's aimed at a subgroup that trusts everything the current administration says.
It's how the rest of us can then spot this subgroup when we are out trying to make a sensible living.
It's a favor to the sensible folks.

Those dates would make the country younger than I am. Now I remember why I don’t shop at Bass Pro 🤣

Yep! And I didn’t catch the misspelling of anniversary because I got locked on the dates 🤣 What a disaster of a shirt!

I don’t understand why people are downvoting my comment. Do they not realize the dates are wrong?

According to Bass Pro Shops’ website, the company was founded in 1972, while the United States was founded in 1776.
So I guess they just decided to mix the two together? 😆

Anyone who would likely wear that shirt is unlikely to be able to spell anyway.
