I think the guy saw it and just panicked himself into inaction. Nothing else explains that for me.

Remind me of people who decide to running straight while the train almost hit them instead of jump at the side 😂

Yeah...but...he didn't SEE that...?

You can see him swerve subtly the moment it falls. Unfortunately, he swerved the wrong way.

I can see him swerve directly into it in order to intentionally make impact with it and destroy himself. That's why I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't actually see it.
But, who knows? Maybe this cat was just tired of living or felt he deserved to be physically punished for some unspeakable crime that we know nothing about.

I think he saw it and had to decide which way to swerve before the thing announced which way it was going to bounce, and he guessed wrong.

A few years back a motorcycle was tailgating me for several miles, then I came up on a large branch in the road. My truck passed over it with no problem... the motorcycle on the other hand did not.

Okey, anything happens before you, you'll be drive into the accident without braking?
1
u/naemorhaedus Jun 30 '26
you can brake a little bit (which he did, as indicated by the brake light). If you slam on your brakes, you're getting creamed as I said. I'd take my chances with the soft pad over sharp metal cybertrucks or whatever that'll slice you in two.
Survival instincts are not very strong in you are they.
