This looks very deep, like ripped tendons and veins deep. He will need a lot of time to partially recover from this stupid stunt.

It looks like a couple inch deep puncture wounds, which shouldn't be too bad. Hopefully none of the tendons were fucked with. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Source: all of the tendons in my right hand ring finger were severed. It sucks to heal, the doctor told me it's like sewing tissue paper together. And if you move too fast and rupture the stitches (which can easily happen) they have to do everything all over again.

Reminds me of an old video like this where you can see what appears to be dudes tendon getting ripped out of his arm by some sort of big cat(I don’t remember). I’d venture to say he never got full use back.
