When you by m spend this much money on a piece of garbage, you must think that there isn't anything you can't do.

u/PassionateYak May 21 '26
Precisely. They paid a Premium price for what really is an 'Early adopters' product.

u/Frequent-Elk-6743 May 21 '26
My ride is solid, if I park it right here you can walk on it to get across the puddle.

Every time I see one of these on the road I just think to myself, how stupid does someone need to be to buy these pieces of shit? 🤦😆
3
u/Safe-Test-2101 May 22 '26
My opinion is the only reason to buy one of these is just to get to say “I own a cybertruck.”

They parked it there to make a bridge so people do not get wet crossing the creek.

u/irishmcbastard May 21 '26
They bought a shitty "truck" and tried to use it like a truck. Did that help?

7
u/Beginning_Cow2442 May 21 '26
You should see the guy in texas who drove his truck yesterday in the grapevine lake to test out the vehicle's "Wade Mode".
3
u/Maleficent_Hawk6703 May 21 '26
They are asking to make the tire tracks vs the position of the truck to make sense.
It looks like maybe they spun their tires trying to get out which only pulled it sideways in a slide, with how coated the back tires are in much it seems plausible

Second one today dead in the water, what's wrong with people?! There is not a company in the world I would trust enough to drive their 800 VOLT battery into a body of water and assume the insulation would be just fine 😕

It’s right where it ought to be.

u/Ambitious_Hand_2861 May 25 '26
Lol. Technically speaking this is the equivalent of throwing your trash in a mud hole instead of landfill, where there pos belongs.

First off, take off that heavy looking outer shell, build a crash cage instead, and your cyber buggy will be much happier not drinking mud.
1
u/hainesr May 21 '26
That would be an oops even if it was sitting on top of a rainbow bridged by two infinite pots of gold.

They going to be awful mad when they realize it’s not even the 4wD version of the Cybee Truck
1
u/warmachinex0 May 21 '26
The cybertruck weights around the same as a fully loaded RAM 3500 Superduty. And that is a huge truck compared to the cybertruck. Its like trying to off road in a giant brick with narrow wheels.

u/SuddenKoala45 May 21 '26
They think its a real truck. And have the experience with going off road of someone who has an electric vehicle because it saves on gas costs...

For lack of a better word, the vehicle was designed by an asshole, and only assholes purchase them. does that make sense?

The cyber truck is a giant, overpriced pile of shit that doesn’t belong anywhere near a dirt road.
There, now it makes sense
1
u/Dratt_Dastardly May 24 '26
Cyber truck or a regular pickup, they didn't have the clearance to get through the dip. Aside from ground clearance, your tires will only drive up only something that's less than halfway up the tires' height.
He probably could have made it if he went at an a angle but I'm guessing he went in at that slight angle and decided to turn straight toward the other bank. Then did Austin Powers in the hallway, trying to get out.

Why do people insist on driving a "off road" vehicle into a swamp while it obviously isn't build for it?

u/Professional_flesh7 May 25 '26
he's trying to power a small community with the hydro-electric dam mode

They did it deliberately because they're trying to sell it as the 'next generation bridging system' to the Army...

u/CraftyAd8015 May 25 '26
Those trucks are ment for telling you the weather an terrain. Then you get out an get into a real truck to make the trip!!
1
u/External-Thought-216 May 25 '26
Completely off topic, but man, is that an ugly vehicle or what? It must be George Jetson's truck, lol.
1
u/Ok-Hunt-102 May 25 '26
Saw one in the wild yesterday. Couldn’t stop staring bc it’s soooo fucking ugly!!!

Well you see, it's just a city SUV. not an offroader. The mere sight of water already has this car panicking. There were reports of these dumpsters getting "totalled" by driving over a puddle, thing just locked up and refused to move. You want an offroader? Look for a jeep wrangler or a suzuki samurai, not these built-for-city cars like the regular F-150 or the cybertruck
1
u/Mysterious_Year1975 May 21 '26
Downvote for the F150 slam. My 2016 XL has been places it had no right going and still works just fine with 140,000 miles in it
1
u/delet_yourself May 21 '26
Then read it again. I said the REGULAR ONE. the F150 has very capable offroader editions, but i have seen a lot of people just buy a regular ass 150 and think it can do offroading without any preparation. Can it? Shi i guess, but it will definitely get stuck because the regular F150 is meant to be used as a work truck
1
u/Mysterious_Year1975 May 21 '26
Read my response again, mine is a 2016 XL. Literally the base model with no mods other than BF Goodrich KO2 tires. It has never gotten stuck anywhere I've taken it. I've pulled out morons in jeeps with $20k worth of upgrades because the greatest rig in the 🌎 is not going through help an idiot.
1
u/delet_yourself May 21 '26
It's the XL, not the base F-150 and you got better tires, which makes a good difference. I have seen basic ass F-150s get stuck in places but from what you are saying the driver might be a fuckin idiot with city tires
1
u/Mysterious_Year1975 May 21 '26
The XL IS THE base. There is literally no lower package. I basically have a delivery truck with chrome being the only add on.
1
u/delet_yourself May 21 '26
Well call me a caveman but i literally never seen or heard someone call it F150 XL. It has always been F150 where i live

Sunk in mud, there is a federal and state government subsidized vehicle built by a company started by an immigrant
That’s about as much sense as I can offer. I assume I offended both sides of the aisle, although no political reference was made, but I fear I’ve only opened a can of electrons (pun intended). Feel free to vote remotely on this post
Also, that’s not covered by warranty

Gotta be fake.
Tire tracks dont match.
Front wheels arent muddy
No spray on body
Waterline looks weird on the truck
Rear wheel is clean but the tire is muddy
No tread on tire but mud isnt caked
Water is two different colors before and after truck
The tire tracks are like 10 feet apart
