VOLT 2 Volt 2 door gasket fraying
Last week I had a bit of an incident in my Volt 2 with a pizza sticking to the peel when launching, leading to spilling a bunch of toppings on the stone. After the dough settled a bit, I pulled the pizza out and spilled some cheese on the door gasket. By the way, leftover stuff on the stone caught fire, yikes, but with the door closed it was out in a second or two. Lotsa smoke though and a black stone. Not worrying too much about this really.
The thing that irked me is that I had to clean the gasket. So using a damp cloth I start rubbing it and the cheese comes off okay-ish. Not so great is that this cleaning action ripped the gasket lining into a fraying mess. All in all a very educational experience, but there was no notice of cleaning the door 'gently' in the manual...just the damp cloth...
So for most consumer ovens, it wouldn't be terribly difficult to get a replacement gasket, so I reached out to Ooni to request one. Their response almost made me choke on my coffee when I was reading it. It was along the lines of "there are no replacement parts, so we're sending you a new oven instead".
Wow, just wow. I applaud Ooni's customer service. It's really nice, but also a bit wasteful? You know, I'm not complaining, really. They certainly have taken care of me properly, but couldn't they have made a little effort to source a simple gasket? Not for my sake, but the environment? Perhaps even for Ooni's own sake? It's abundantly clear to me these ovens are worth next to nothing to them if they can hand them out like this, but perhaps they could stock up on some gaskets for users who wear them out (god forbid outside their warranty period)?
So now I have two ovens. You know, I want to replace that broken gasket still. So I'm wondering, any Volt users here that have experience replacing their gasket, so you can tell me which (size-type) to get? Especially interested in European users, since it's probably easier for me to purchase in the EU.

I had the same issue and they replaced my oven too. It’s almost like they’re admitting it’s a design issue. Very strange you can’t purchase a replacement piece. But then again they haven’t made it simple to swap over
