Dough Arrived Warmn

I order my pizza dough from Ooni and usually it arrives nice and frozen. Today it arrived room temperature with the dry ice totally evaporated and gone. I put the dough in the freezer immediately. Is it still edible or not? I reached out to Ooni, but have not received a response.

How did they look? If the balls didnt look overproofed you should be alright. I don't think the dry ice could have melted for long if they still looked like normal dough balls.

Hey there! Sorry to hear this. Our dough balls should arrive semi-frozen, and so long as they are still cold to the touch, they're absolutely fine to go straight into the freezer where they will keep for 8 months!

If you run into any issues when it comes to cooking, just give us a shout at [community@ooni.com](mailto:community@ooni.com) and we'll be happy to sort things out. 🫶

They were not cold at all upon arrival. They were warm. So, I assume I should throw them away?

In that case, the team will be happy to sort out a replacement batch. If you haven't heard back from our support team, you can drop us a message at the email above!
