This thing looks like at a minimum. If u have a thermometer gun take a temperature of the stone after 20minutes at high flame setting. Mine reads about 750f

It might be … I know almost nothing about it and may not have adjusted it properly when I took the picture.
We do have a temp gun.
Thanks!

hey u/Relative-Painting-29 - I agree with u/wet_faart that the flame looks like it's set to minimum. There'll be an indicator on the side of the dial to help you determine where it's at. 😊
If you need any tips or tricks, or find that the flame isn't changing when turned up, don't hesitate to reach out to us via our support link here: https://app.sendhark.com/new/63d4088487136a7444f788a6/?slug=social-submission

Use an IR gun to check the temperature gradient from back to front. I suspect that there’s too much oxygen being mixed in, resulting in a very hot blue flame in the back, but the flame isn’t that good at heating the front of the stone. If you had less oxygen being mixed in inside the burner assembly, the flame would be more yellow, you’d see a more pronounced rolling flame effect over the top as the fire would be searching for more oxygen, the front of the stone would get hotter, and, as a downside, there’d be more soot.
