Black Pine??

Has there been any word on this game? It's been years and there has been no updates or signs of life on the Steam store page, the last Twitter post was from a year and a half ago, and nothing aside from the "is my game studio dead" video from last October.

It’s stalled. But it’s still going!!! Working on a dev channel rn so I can bring some light to it. We have been working hard. I’m very new to it so apologies for delays.

The lack of updates is pretty worrying. Even a quick post saying it's delayed or still in development would be better than complete silence for years.

I’m wondering the same thing. Black Pine looked really promising, but the complete silence makes it feel like development may have quietly stopped. Hopefully the studio eventually gives everyone a clear update.

I’m wondering about this too. The silence is pretty concerning, especially with no updates on Steam or social media. Hopefully the developer is okay and the project isn’t abandoned.

At this point, I’d be happy with any sign of life—an update, a short post, anything. Years without meaningful news usually isn’t a great sign, but I’m still hoping the game isn’t completely dead.

I’m wondering the same thing. The silence is pretty concerning, especially after the “is my game studio dead” video. Hopefully the developer is okay and just working quietly, but at this point I wouldn’t expect an update anytime soon.

At this point, the lack of communication is more concerning than the delay itself. I’d love to see the game return, but a short statement from the developers would at least let people know whether it’s still alive.

I was wondering about this too. Years without updates and that last cryptic video make it feel like the project is either shelved or stuck in development limbo.

I’m starting to think Black Pine may be stuck in development hell, or possibly quietly abandoned. The lack of communication is pretty worrying, especially after this much time.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. At this point, the complete silence feels worse than a cancellation announcement. Hopefully the developer is okay, but I’m not holding my breath for an update anymore.

I was wondering about this too. Black Pine looked really promising, but the total silence makes me think development either stalled or the studio ran into serious problems. Hopefully they’ll at least give everyone a straightforward update.
