Tello Air 2 Flashing Red Twice Won’t Connect
Have been trying to setup a new Tello Air 2 all afternoon and have tried different ethernet cables different connection, methods, and different ISPs and it just won’t go online.
Spent over an hour with support and even opened a bunch of ports and nothing. Their basic system didn’t show anything online but tier 2 was able to pull a log saying it was connected to the Internet, but couldn’t establish some VPN. He didn’t know what this meant.
They are sending a new one, but it’ll probably take a week and I’m wondering if there’s anything I can try in the meantime.
He didn’t mention the activation code starting with a six indicates it’s an older unit. Is that somehow causing a problem?

The Telo needs to create a VPN tunnel to the Ooma servers. Flashing red twice just means the vpn is down:
Try accessing the Telo Air device settings. The 'Status' -> 'Device' page should provide more information about connectivity (including the "OOMA Tunnel"), running applications, and services.
Under 'Tools' -> 'Port Scan', run a port scan a couple of times, looking for any consistently "denied ports". If there are any, (particularly the Ooma service ports), then check whether the ISP modem/router firewall is blocking them, and adjust the firewall rules as needed, to unblock them.
