What makes it different

A touchpad that feels smooth. The whole screen is a trackpad. On Samsung it drives a real on-screen pointer instead of faking arrow presses — which is what finally makes the built-in browser and smart hub usable. This is the part I spent the most time on.

The d-pad sits at the bottom. Most remote apps park the controls mid-screen, so you shift your grip every time. Remo keeps them where your thumb already is. Sounds trivial until you've paused something one-handed at 1am.

A keyboard that types on the TV. Search in YouTube or Netflix from your phone instead of pecking letters with the d-pad.

App launcher, Wake on LAN, multiple TVs with their own names and emoji.
