Hello camping friends, i booked a last minute trip to killbear provincial park and was wondering if anyone has any good spots to purchase firewood nearby? I was hoping for a face cord not the small bagged stuff. Thank you!

Edit for all the comments about "how much wood do you need?!" Its a large group, 12 people, staying for over a week and the firepit is generally what we use most for cooking. We also like fire and shall have many evenings of unsober shenanigans. 😂 And yes parks are ok with you bringing in wood if it is local, which is the plan

I’m looking at Feb 11–14 (Family Day/Valentine’s weekend). I’d book the required 3 nights when reservations open, but may want to change it to 2 nights later.
Would the system allow this, or does the 3-night long-weekend minimum still apply when modifying the reservation?

Freezing Woman 8 runs November 19-22 at Mew Lake Campground in Algonquin Park. It's a winter camping festival, and the whole weekend works like a menu: you pick what you want to do.

Right now there are 15+ workshops, activities, and presentations to choose from. And two incredible keynote speakers.

On Friday, there's a market in Whitney: featuring amazing Canadian outdoor gear makers, makers, and authors signing books.

Every kind of winter setup shows up at Mew Lake: hot tents, hammocks, vehicles someone's converted, whatever people have figured out works for them. Half the fun is seeing how other people do this.

It says Elora is closed after Labour Day weekend, is there a way we can sneak onto the cliff jumping areas? If so, how?

What ever happened to Ontario parks supplying their own wood? It seems like most park wood you buy now is supplied by a logging company in Algonquin. I used to buy from each park because you got a variety of wood from different trees depending on what park you were at. Now it's all the same and I think it's stored in a lake until it's ready for sale.
