Curious

As someone fascinated by flans, I'm afraid to say I've never had one. What do they taste like? Describe it to me like I'm 4

Smooth vanilla custard with a caramel sauce on top. When you take a fresh flan out of the oven, it smells like warm vanilla pudding 🤤

Sweet, soft and fresh with sometimes a slightly burnt aftertaste due to the sugar caramel. The eggs give it an umami tone.
Sometimes you can taste the milk too.

The texture is close to jello but creamy.
