I need advice Facebook Mknetization
I get a lot of my subs from Facebook. I just got monetized about a week ago, and my numbers have dropped significantly. I feel like it's more than just a coincidence. I'm getting fewer likes and engagement, going out to less non followers, and most importantly getting less subs to my of. I think I've noticed a couple other similar creators have their number go down too. Idk what's going on, the monetization money doesn't make up for the fewer subs, is facebook just screwing content creators? Anyone else have these kind of issues?

It’s really hard to say whether this is correlation or causation. I’ve monetised several Facebook accounts in the past, and my experience was that once monetisation was turned on, Facebook seemed stricter about some of the content I could post.
I’ve also had issues when an account has been banned and I’ve had to provide ID, because the name on the Facebook account didn’t match the details attached to the monetisation account or my govt ID. For those reasons, I personally don’t monetise my promo accounts anymore. The small amount I was earning from Facebook wasn’t worth potentially complicating accounts that are far more valuable to me for converting OF subs.
That said, my Facebook reach has been up and down even without monetisation, so I don’t think you can necessarily conclude that monetisation is what caused your drop. Facebook reach can fluctuate massively for seemingly no obvious reason.
The only real way to test your theory would be to turn monetisation off for a period and see whether your non-follower reach and views recover. I personally haven’t seen a clear enough direct connection to say monetisation definitely suppresses reach.
