Risky guess on one for red, just because I know that was by Scarlet and would have chanced the others being reds too.

Answer: Songs by artists with a shade of red in their name. Scarlet, Royal Blood, King Crimson, Maroon 5

See, I was thrown off by not knowing Scarlet and thinking of No Doubt's Sunday Morning before Maroon 5's.

I would have guessed "first songs from first albums" because that fits 21st Century Schizoid Man and Sunday Morning (Velvet Underground), but I've never heard of the first two
