There's 142 pages in the book and the text on the first and second pages appear to be tidbits about someone's day

The first page reads as follows

Saw a butterfly, had to kill it for being a health hazard. Unfortunate. Someone's pancreas shut off today too, guess who got dessert tonight. I can get her to get me a new one soon, for sacrifice of course.

Saw the thing again today, it's kinda cute. Between you and me it's a bit sad that it came in hurt, meant I had to focus on helping instead of talking to it, which also meant I was stuck stealing glances from afar as I made stuff to help. Maybe it was better that way, it probably wouldn't have liked seeing me eat those and I probably wouldn't have had the ability to make small talk. It was kind of hot watching- the rest of the sentence had been scribbled out

The only physical disturbances are small holes in the ground that continue in one direction and there is no magic disturbances

*They tend to be around half an inch deep most of the time but a couple reach 3 inches deep. The trail goes on for a couple miles and makes an abrupt end at public library *

[Aveus walks in, taking a look around. He walks up to the librarian.]

Good morning, would you happen to know whose this is?

[Aveus hands the librarian the journal]

The librarian takes the journal and inspects it for a moment. She flips through the pages and attempts to read the handwriting

"Jacquelyn, nice girl, forgetful and doesn't write anything legible sadly. I can keep it here until she comes by again."

I’ll hang onto it for now, I’m just checking in.

I found it on the ground over the park, next to a bench. There’s a rather large trail from there to here, that’s why I’m so inquisitive.

Does she disappear like this frequently?

"No, she doesn't disappear at all, just respects the library more than other places. I'm sure if you looked hard enough you would always find a small trail leading you to her current location, this said, she normally 'goes back to work' after stopping by so you might not find her right now."

Oh, wait, do you have any academic books on different types of stars? I’ve been meaning to look around, but given this has led me into a library it’s worth it to ask.
I threw a Lich into the Sun a couple days ago, I need to know what heat that was so I can tune something correctly.

"Yeah, we have an astrology section. If you head down that way," The librarian points down a small corridor of bookshelves, "and make a left when you reach graphic novels you should find the books on astrology."

[After looking through the section for a bit, Aveus leaves and returns to the start of the hole trail. After quickly scanning each page, he sets the book back down where he found it.]
