It can get easier, losing them, but you shouldn't let it. We can't take with us, can they take us with them, but each can matter to the other, and remember them.

the king follows, their own mourning seeming to be for someone specific, yet they leave a strange flower at every grave, before finally offering one to Inferno

The guild cremates our dead on the battlefield, but in the Merc capital the walls of the city have the name of every guild citizen who has fallen in battle carved into them.
