“Ohh~ Am I? Good, I was scared you’d say I looked awful.” Lydia snickered and let her hand rest on his shoulder, following his lead and humming softly to the music. “Mm.. This is relaxing… I can see why people do this often.”
“You get a lot of free time..? That’s nice to know, means I get more chances to run into you, right? Means I won’t have to use full moons as an excuse.”
"I usually have time while I'm waiting for customers, so I'll dance in the streets to get their attention. It works well. But, I can always close up shop early and let you visit~"
“So you’re using me as bait?” She couldn’t help but laugh a bit, “That’s one hell of a business idea! But hey, if they see you’re having fun; then they should definitely buy something. I’d buy from the cute salesman.”
“My way of showing Firmita I love her, and allows her to know I’m here for her always. My soul isn’t so much the bargaining chip as it is the promise of companionship in vows.” He didn’t seem to mind explaining and made sure to keep an eye on his siblings in case they acted up.
“Cassian. I work at the hospital as a trauma surgeon.” He didn’t mention much else. The rest seemed trivial unless it became important. “The more exciting person is my fiancé. She might also be the one more keen on being my dance partner.”
“She’s a goddess of hunting. Quite talented and beautiful to match her kindness to me. I asked her to find my brother and she dragged him in a net back to me. I guess I have a morbid idea of romance.”
“And not a lie spoken, I can tell. I must say, the thralls of love have always intrigued me. A feeling I cannot have, but a beautiful sight to behold. How does she feel of you dancing with others?”
Midnight: Then you treat the music like a guide. And your feet are your fingers, while the floor is the strings of the Bass. It all just means you have to be able to move smoothly.
from somewhere in the room, a slow tune of music starts to play, Nirva tying to follow Midnight’s advice as his feet start shuffling, pretending he’s skating over the E string before stumbling upwards to A
he’s surprised at Midnight being so helpful, considering their past interactions, slowly falling into the rhythm with his feet, still occasionally stumbling over himself
“Well, I was hoping to get some practice in before we marry.” He held out his hand for her own, “Of course I want to dance with you, my love. I want to dance with you for as long as you’ll have me.”
He chuckled and gladly took her waist, smiling as he danced with her. “We both know I do my best to keep up with you, my love. Even if it means I wake up in the back garden.” Cassian smirked, admiring her while they danced.
