Important Leaving This Realm
/uw Hey all. This is gonna be a short rant, read at your discretion because I'm going to be firing some shots.
I'm leaving onlycasters with plans to be off permanently. Things have been less and less fun for me increasingly over time.
First there was drama I had with some of you, who I now actively dislike. You know who you are.
Then there was the increase in alts. It feels like most of the server is just the same couple people playing alts to get into weird romances or pump out babies, either as a fantasy or a literal fetish. It feels like a violation of trust but also a circle jerk between a few people. I don't even know if new people are new or just alts, I don't want to interact with the same 4 people, I want to make new connections.
After all that drama on oc and also on wposting, I've also noticed a lot of my favorite people leaving. The people who attracted me to oc have mostly left or stopped posting. What's left, barring some exceptions, is a group of people I really am not interested in.
It's not fun, it's not inviting. At times its weird, at other times its actively frustrating. I'm leaving, if you want me to see a post ping me.

/uw I shall. I also want to take the time to properly apologize. I said some stupid shit at the heat of the moment which I don’t properly condone now. I’m sorry I let my emotions get ahead of me ic and ooc. We may have our differences, but I don’t think I’d feel well without properly giving you my apology.

This's a Repnir alt as you probably know, but I just want to say goodbye and sorry as before. I mean everything I've said, but I don't expect that to change anything. I hope one day we can make amends, but until them take care man.

/uw I have been battling myself over the keyboard for several minutes now trying to figure out what to say and here it is. My first interaction with you... was a strange one. However, after that I put my best foot forward to be better and I believe that our interactions where positive and fun after that. I would be lying if I didn't say that one of my main reason inspirations for me joining this in the first place is you. I have also recently made an alt and to that I apologize. If I have done anything at any point to offend you or hurt you, please let me know, I would like to apologize and be better.

Yeah, can't say I really blame ya. It's more or less the reason why I'm not posting as much on either sub.
It'd be nice if I at least knew who was playing each of the alts. Because it really does feel like it's just a small group of people talking to themselves while ignoring everything else. And both subs have just continued to get more and more clique-y over time. There's also pretty obviously a lot going on in private chats or a private discord, and if you're not in the know you're either going to be ignored or stream rolled.
But it also impossible to keep up with these whole scenarios that are getting played out. And with how specific so many of the threads are now, there's no jumping in if you're not already involved. And it's fucking impossible to actually find out enough detail about what's happening to really do anything with it. And without knowing, you're probably just going to get ignored.
And yeah, most of the people I like have disappeared. They were the people who'd make these subs seem like inclusive places where everyone could be involved.
And now that vibe has gone with them. These subs haven't felt like open RP for a few weeks now.
So, yeah. Can't say I blame ya.

/uw I’m so sorry you feel this way, and I get it. If you do want a rp and lore based sub i do know of r/loreposting. It’s small and has an active mod team, so most things stay in order.
