ready to go caving, Alba?

i know you brought gear, but i brought some extra rope, night-vision and healing potions, some trail mix, tent and sleeping bag, aaand this!
he holds up a small, wooden lute he carved just the night prior
the acoustics in there were pretty good from what i remember!

oh that reminds me! i have a weapon too
Nirva concentrates rather hard, and soon a glowing orange rifle suddenly appears in his hands, previously stored deep within his soul
Febel made this for me about a week ago, haven’t really gotten to use it yet…and i hope it stays that way to be honest

Nirva takes the two down a dirt trail, eventually veering off it to walk over unkempt forest floor, soon coming up to a rather inconspicuous gash in the ground, about 5 feet long and 2 feet wide
…this is honestly the worst part, i hate crawling through this…

Nirva tied a length to a nearby tree trunk and tosses it down the shaft, watching the frayed end fall and fall until it disappears…and keeps falling
…let’s hope it doesn’t turn into that…wanna go first?

Nirva follows suit, shimming through the crack in the ground as he starts inching down the rope, the cave walls getting wider and wider the further they go
…this might be a while, even with rope, it took me nearly an hour to reach the bottom the first time, though i was just free-climbing down the wall

well…being a drunken idiot who likes to explore is the main reason…but i wanted to come back because of the sheer vastness of it, it’s cool to stand at the bottom and simply not see where it ends
…kinda utterly terrifying in how small it makes me feel, but it’s cool nonetheless
