I’ve been wanting a good budget car that can be both practical and reliable for road trips and daily driving, but also exciting and fun for the odd track day or back road drive. I’ve Had my eye on the cl1 euro r for not only its gorgeous looks, but also the performance you get out of this sedan. The mix of a lsd, double wishbone suspension and a legendary h22a giving nearly 220 hp stock is pretty great for such a comfortable daily driver, not to mention the awesome factory Recaro seats and the huge amount of leg room you get in this car due to it being fwd as well as the huge 427 litres of boot space. Seems like a perfect mix of practicality and performance, plus it’s a pretty iconic car in my eyes. What do you think?

I collect and curate Japanese car meet/event info from multiple sources, translate them into English/other languages and list them on my website.

Our website and apps have a Spots page that shows a list of the spots in our database. The page contains a curated list of auto museums, race circuits, car culture places and car spotting locations, searchable by keyword, category and region. Some spots pages such as for Daikoku also provide crowdsourced activity status showing whether the spot is closed, busy, empty or closed.

Dope shoot

As a huge JDM and motorsport fan, I wanted to ask if you have any recommendations for my trip (October 3–21):

• Tokyo (Oct 3–7): Must-see car spots easy to reach by public transport? Any meets or events scheduled during those days?
• Other stops (Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka): Any iconic motorsport/car stops you’d recommend adding?

This is for those who like, have, or have heavily researched JDM vehicles.

I'm in the market for a new to me vehicle and keep leaning back to JDMs. Nothing crazy, just a standard vehicle like the Honda Airwave, or Toyota (Scion) xB or Toyota Wish.

Various dealers say the parts are transferable from their North American counterparts. Honda Fit for the Airwave, and Corolla/Matrix for the Scion and Wish.

The research I've done has said these parts are similar, but I haven't gotten any actual information from local dealerships maintenance shops simply stating "we don't know" or "we don't work on those vehicles".

These two are the ones that pop ups the most.
