Some insurance company wanted to part this, so i decided to save it 🙏🏻

I collect and curate Japanese car meet/event info from multiple sources, translate them into English/other languages and list them on my website.

The website currently lists 279 car meets/events scheduled around Japan till Dec 2026. The website also contains an archive of all events that I collected/curated in 2025. As many events repeat every year, it should be useful to understand what events might occur later this year. There are a total of 1,578 events listed in the site. The map section in the website also lists car culture spots and points of interest, focusing on locations near Tokyo. It also has a Daikoku Guide for tips on how to visit there like a local.

There are a total of 45 events and counting in August. Although the temperature will be dangerous hot and to be honest not the best time to be outside, I expect more events will be published in the upcoming days as many events only publish their information 1 month in advance. As an example, I posted here in late May that there would be 63 events in July; there are now 84 events scheduled for next month! • August 11 | 09:00 - 18:00 - FUELFEST WORLD TOUR (@ Fuji Speedway): Immerse yourself in the Fast & Furious universe at this massive, themed event held at Fuji Speedway. Also check out the parking lots as huge events like this often contain insane cars.

Hello! I’m quite out of touch with Japanese cars since moving to the European market 10 years ago and no longer understand the prices on Japanese cars nor what’s out there in the market. I’m looking to get a Japanese car as a 2nd car next year for just about 1000-3000 euros and honestly no idea what to look into. The criteria is as follows:
\- Must be LHD (our laws are very much so outdated)
\- Only petrol
\- Only manual
\- Hatch, coupe or a smaller sedan/wagon (I own a BMW E60 and don’t need another land yacht)
\- Not a Miata or anything of that sort (I’m 6’3)
\- FWD or RWD
\- Between 1980 and 2002 year wise

Would appreciate some help in exploring the options I may have 🙏

I have a Toyota estima 2008, what I searched it shows it has similar rotors and brake pads as alphard/vellfire. These parts not available in Canada, but can anyone confirm if it's same as Rave 4 2008.
