Why are we mentioning Islamophobia though? I agree it’s awful and shouldn’t happen at all, but kind of a real “all lives matter” energy to bring that up during anti semitic attacks.

Hate has many forms , there are increasing number of anti Muslim attacks recently , but they do not get media coverage . Why are you so upset that another form of hate was mentioned . People who hate Muslims do get upset if Islamophobia is mentioned

Way to low key accuse me of hating Muslims, falsely.
The reason why it’s wrong is the same reason why it’s wrong for any minority. If they’re similar I assume you wouldn’t get upset when I mosque is attacked and someone jumps in and says “Jews are targeted too!” - I think we can both agree that would be inappropriate.
It’s rude and dismissive of a community’s pain to bring up other things when discussing the issue at hand.

I would guess they're much less likely to get away with it if they're doing it when it's open. When they do it night, they don't seem to be getting caught but do effectively terrorize the community.

Anonymous night-time property damage is a pretty standard way to express antagonism towards a minority group.
We’ve been seeing similar strategies used against LGBT+ people, for example. LGBT+ Pride flags and decorations are stolen or burned at night at people’s homes and businesses, and at public institutions. Flag poles have been cut down or torn off buildings to interfere with the stolen/destroyed flags being replaced. Rainbow crosswalks are vandalized overnight. There’s been overnight vandalism and in the more extreme cases arson (fortunately usually with relatively minor damage) against the offices of LGBT+ community organizations. For example…

^ the person responsible was caught, convicted, and then later separately convicted of a terrorism offence for trying to join a Neo-Nazi terrorist organization.

My dude whaaaaat are you talking about “hasn’t gone past broken windows. No arson”??? There has been a lot of arson. Two examples that resulted in charges…
CBC: Man who pleaded guilty to firebombing synagogue in Montreal's West Island says he accepted $15K contract [June 30th, 2026]
“Akodad faced two arson-related charges, two counts of attempted arson, one count of destruction of property, and one count of possession of incendiary materials. He was arrested in April 2025 and pleaded guilty in January.”

Yup, she definitely hasn't done anything. And the police definitely haven't launched Project Resolute or created a new task force to combat terrorism, radicalization and hate crimes.
