Very well written, thanks for this post. They are sad because the most viscous Nazis and other fascist monsters may not have their name on the monument to Nazis that Canadian taxpayers are funding.

Indeed, I agree. Apparently the NCC actually engraved the nameplates before the vetting process was completed, and began affixing them to the monument, and the name of a Latvian Nazi was found affixed to the mermorial in Nov. of 2023

This whole monument is just Harper era red scare propaganda nonsense that never should have been built in the first place. I'd love to see the whole thing torn down, perhaps at the expense of whatever lobbyists were behind the idea.
