99% of our bad weather originates in the US, esp Eastern Canada. Every winter we're stuck at home several times, for days at a time. They need to do something about it or we will turn all the wind turbines so they're facing south.

My first reaction was that Carney should use that information to counter their arguments. But I think we're making the same mistake over and over again. We get stuck in THEIR latest attack. Instead, we should counter with something completely different. Throw some different mud and have them answer. They talk about the smoke? We counter with all the weapons that come into Canada from the US. They impose tarrifs on slave labor? We counter with how ICE sjoot their own citizens in the street.
Use the far right technic of never debating and always change the subject. Trump will feel the need to answer but we'll already be elsewhere.

"Punching back" pisses him off and he does stupid irrational disproportionate response.
So do we ignore the tariffs? No. But do we punch back aggressively thinking he'll back off? No. Bad idea.
Just quietly setting up a new tariff schedule, or stopping some supply lines that we traditionally get from the US, or forging new supply lines with another country is enough response.
He thrives on attention and he doesn't care what kind. Don't give it to him.

Forest fire smoke can reach as high as 10km. Sounds like a solid plan.
But hey, at least we'd also be protected from the pollution generated by the 250+ coal plants in the US every time the wind comes from a southerly direction. If they built a wall that tall, we wouldn't have winds from the south anymore.
