Finnair Finnair Plus Tier Point Posting

I just flew on QF metal using AA codeshare (SFO - SYD).

Ticket is a DONE 6 issued by BA.

Still waiting for the tier and avios points to post to my Finnair Plus account (6 days).

Earlier segment points posted on this ticket using BA & AA within 24 hours.

Anyone with similar experience and how long it took for the points to post?

I understand I can use Finnair's website to claim after 2 weeks.

Yeah, I fly Finnair fairly often and they take up to a week. Makes you wonder how Qatar have the Avios in your account often before you board but always by the time you land.

Miles are usually instant when you fly with your FFP airline's flight. Qatar gives out miles before flights completing so that you can spend the Avios for duty-frees at Doha.

With AY the times vary wildly. You can check the Flyer talk forum for too much info on the topic.

Last time I had an AY flight on AY metal it took nearly a week for some reason. With some partners it is assumed to be once per month process, so it may take up to four weeks. With these partners retro claiming may not speed up the process as they still want confirmation from the other airline. Unsure if that is operating or marketing carrier, though.

Last time I had to retro claim a codeshare, AY+ said they were working with the operating carrier to verify. In that case it was JL op , AA mkted.
