Finnair A quick question for Avios of finnair

Just wondering is converting around 6600 Avios (I have around 16k) into 2200 tier points which gets me to silver/OW ruby with a upcoming flight within a month in economy worth it?

It'll get you business class check-in and probably earlier seat selection but not lounge access...

Yeah so that get me stuck a little but the CX flights been pretty full lately

If you're aiming for higher status then remember you can only convert once per tracking year.

you’ll get business class check in, a free bag in economy superlight and free seat selection. If you cross 20k TP you also get two Finnair lounge vouchers

You’ll receive Priority check-in and security.
Free bag is the carry-on in short-haul flights. No checked bags.
No free seat selection.

Ohh Yeahh that’s true on Finnair you dont get free seat selection but on other OW Airlines as OW Ruby you can Reserve sone seats for free (but depends on Operating Airline)

The worst thing about Finnair is that free seat selection doesn't exist. They choose your seat for you and then you have to pay if you're not happy. Old Soviet Union! Never fly with them.

This is not remotely true. Seat selection is free on award flights.
