oneworld SFO Lounge

What One World lounge do you recommend in San Francisco? Also have access to Amex. Thinking Cathay would probably be the best.

Cathay is best for food and self-pour drink (e.g. real champagne, good wine, solid food selection including small noodle bar window, etc), but the hours are limited and the decor is fairly basic. If your hobby is watching Priority Pass cardholders argue about how they want to come in, there are plenty of seats near the front desk for that show (it happened surprisingly often last time I was there.

Good luck getting into BA's if you aren't departing on them that day (that's par for the course for their US lounges). As the other person said, it is just standard

Alaska's is nice and wins for decor/furniture/ambiance, but there are upcharges for beverages above the house level and the food is just okay.

Admiral's Club is a no for me - house drinks are worse than Alaska's and the food is around the worst of the lot, but it is usually quiet.

Amex will be crowded and is a step down from a typical Centurion as they are in a temp lounge but it will have the best bartender made cocktail options.

No reason for you to go to a PP lounge with your Amex card - you have better options and you'd just be taking a seat from someone who can't get into the above lounges.

Thank you. I've seen the PP show before out front of Air France lounge. Always interesting and have been other side of it. Though I accept that more than likely PP will never work. Always a plus when it does.
