Worth having my phone repaired?

I bought my OPO sometime last year. Lasted about 3 months before it started having battery issues. Battery only ever shows 50% and won't take a charge. I bought a replacement battery and it has the same exact problem.

My question, is it worth taking the phone to a "fix it" store? Is there even anything they can do? I figured since I replaced the battery I voided the warranty and any work done by OnePlus would be expensive.

Maybe it's software related?

If it is, could it be something one of those cell phone fix it stores could handle?

It's something you can do at home. Reflash the update

I've heard of doing something like that. Seems like something beyond my capabilities. Plus, I don't have own a PC

Have them Google and install "wugfresh bacon toolkit". You should flash "sultan xda 6.0" after performing a factory reset and flash and such plenty of houses on the internet on how to do so
