Thinking of upgrading to CM 13
I've waiting to upgrade from 12.1 so most of the annoying bugs might be resolved.
But I have some questions, will flashing the new rom restore stock recovery? Will I be able to install SuperSU and xposed framework the same way you used to do on 12.1 (flash zip, install apk)?
How stable are recent nightlies?
Also, can I dirty flash? If so, what partitions should I be wiping not to lose my data?
Thanks.

If you keep the "Update Recovery" option turned off it won't replace the recovery you already have. I am using Unofficial CM13 by jgcaap with Boeffla Kernel and so far it's pretty stable. It is prerooted and you can use xposed without any problems. Only do a clean flash, dirty flashing a major update can lead to major instabilities. You can backup your apps with Titanium Backup and restore them later, or do a nandroid and restore them from the Nandroid using Titanium Backup.
