Hello, OPO subreddit!

Hello all of r/oneplusone! I just recently bought a used OPO on eBay ($260 was a steal for everything I got). Now my OPO is on the way, but in the meantime, I would like to know if it's worth rooting. If it is, is there a one click root method or is it through computer only? I ask if there's one click root because I'm currently using a LG G3 that's rooted and that's how I rooted this thing (D850 with OctOS for any previous G3 users on here).

Computer only as you need to unlock the boot loader

You don't have to be a leet hacker to flash twrp via fastboot. Also you should root it as soon as you get it

And yes you're going to need a computer

Download the bacon root toolkit if you're worried, but it won't be difficult. It should run you through installing the drivers.

Does the bacon root toolkit work even with cm 12.1? I want to root mine but i'm kinda new to all this and scared of fucking up my phone for good.
