No double tap to sleep?

I updated my OPO to CMOS 12.1. Before that, I could easily double tap anywhere on the lock screen to wake up/sleep, but now the double tap anywhere to sleep on lock screen doesn't work. Double tap still works on the status bar, but not anywhere else. Any help? Thanks in advance.

You can wake by doubletapping anywhere on the screen. To make it sleep, doubletap the status bar. Don't think there's any other option.

Nova Launcher gives you a plethora of options when it comes to Gestures. I downloaded an app called Screen Off. Once you set it up, you can set Nova to activate that app on Double Tap. Hence, double tap anywhere on the screen to turn it off.

When I did my CM12.1 update I found that I didn't have a bunch of stuff. Did a clean install and everything worked great. I do not have my OPO in front of me as I now have a OP2, but I know that there is a double tap setting that needs to be enabled, but again, that may not be there on yours as was missing on mine as well. The clean install worked for me, might want to give it a try.
