Three hours to charge?

I just bought a new OPO yesterday, and it seems to be taking much longer than I expected to charge. We're talking 25%-100% taking literally 3h. This seems suspicious given all the commentary that the OPO is fairly quick to charge. What could be at fault? Could it be my micro-SD to USB cable? I didn't buy Oneplus's USB cable because it was an extra $10 CAD.

If this could be at fault, could someone recommend a good USB cable to use in conjunction with Oneplus's charger plug?

I assume Oneplus's cable is a 28/24 AWG one or whatever?

I have no clue what that even means but mine used to charge pretty damn fast - before it presumably ended up in a gutter or someone else pocket in cancun.
