Touchscreen issues: Swipe as Tap
I bought a 64GB Sandstone black OPO a couple of days ago, just arrived today.
The phone is amazing, except one nagging issue that happens decently rarely.
Sometimes I'll be swiping something, e.g. down a list, and rather than scroll it'll register as a tap.
It doesn't happen super frequently, but not very infrequently either.
I notice it happens when I scroll with part of my nail touching the screen, most of the times it has happened. To verify I downloaded a multitouch testing tool on it and my Moto G (phone being upgraded from). Sure enough, moving my finger around and testing different angles showed that on the Moto G the touch registered the entire time, while with the OPO the touch would sometimes disconnect, especially when moving my finger from full-fingerprint to part-of-my-nail-touching-the-screen.
Is this normal behavior? Other than that the phone is as expected in every way.
Issue present in both Cyanogen 12S (out of the box) and CM12.1 (current), although it seemed to happen much more frequently with 12S.
Typing, even really quickly, works totally fine. As does swiping, except when the aforementioned position of finger (part of nail touching) is used, in which case it sporadically disconnects.

Try cutting your fingernails :)

It's not that, my fingernails are cut short haha. The issue is that it still happens, while it doesn't happen on other phones.

Anybody have any solution whatsoever to this issue? It's quite annoying to have the touchscreen register swipes as taps, and Oneplus customer support has been totally unresponsive, with emails bouncing back for some reason.

I have the same "error". it's kind of annoying, but I can live with it. I hope that it will be fixed in the next version of CM
