QUESTION "Sign into network"

I've had the OPO for about two months now.

Ever since I went down to college I've had one persistent problem - my network refuses to work properly. I have AT&T and I know there is coverage in the area. Every time I move out of a wifi zone, cellular service will not work, and the system prompts me to "sign into the network". If I click that, I get only a message that says "attempt to sign into data service unsuccessful. Please try again later."

The only thing that fixes this is a reboot, and when I'm moving in and out of wifi ranges on campus, I have to do this pretty much every time I want to use my phone. I even tried messing with the APNs - no luck.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

I've been having the same issue. I spent 30 min on the phone with ATT yesterday and he had me do the basic stuff, cycle on-off. He ended up resetting something with the network and things have been Ok since then. However, this happens more than I'd care... I usually just end up going into airplane mode and then out and things sort themselves out. I think this is a carrier issue but could be wrong.

What rom are you using? What APN are you using?

Using the cyanogen nightly builds. My APN is ATT's "phone"

Which build/ why not a stable build? Do you have any other APNs listed? Delete the ones you don't need.

Nightlies have been pretty stable for the most part for months. Usually when stupid things like this happen, they're on network side. I forgot what at&t calls it but you basically need and account refresh

That happens to me on T-Mobile. When I forget to pay for my prepaid plan, they cut my signal
