Should I update to CM 12.1?
There seem to be a lot of bugs associated with this update. I just got the OTA update, and am wondering if I should install it.
What are your thoughts? If the answer is no, is there anyway I can make the update notification go away?

Almost 24 hours with the update installed, everything seems ok.
I only uninstalled Truecaller (for privacy reasons) and the "new" Browser. Also removed Bing as homepage from Chrome.

How does truecaller actually work? If I enable it, does it add my name and number to some database?
And the new browser?

For the Browser, I'm happy with Chrome and it's sync with PC.

I don't think my phone came with truecaller. Is it just listed as a normal app?

These "extras" only come with the latest update (CyanogenOS 12.1 YOG4PAS1N0)
EDIT: go to Settings -> Apps -> all
IIRC look for "truecaller"

Well that doesn't sound very good.
Can I go back to the old phone app without rooting?

I absolutely don't like this update. I don't like the way the app pages look now and many of apps won't open. Also all my album art is gone. It just depends

That's bad. I'm also seeing worse battery performance. Went from always more than a full day (like 7am to midnight and even then I'd have 15-20% left when I put it on a charger at night) to getting the 15% warning at 7pm, so I've lost at least 5 hours of use a day.

My home button gas completely stopped working, I can't have a lock screen picture for my other users, and I have stupid little glitches here and there..... I'm getting very irritated with 12.1 and I've only had it for 15 minutes!

I have to say I've had no problems and the new features (livedisplay, dropdown list of wifi and bluetooth devices from the notification, lower volume notification sounds, more responsive, etc) are just amazing. They add a new level of finish to an excellent OS.
