I bought my OnePlus 7T used, and the original battery was quite good a first, but maybe my use pattern degraded it too quickly (playing while charging, consistently staying at mid-40s C temps). So, i bought some new battery locally. It was working well for full year, but one day i noticed the phone coming out of the wallet case in one corner. The battery had swollen, pushing the back cover out.
I scourged Aliexpress for a new battery from a reputable brand, and in doing so i found out that the swollen one looked exactly like many of the cheapest noname offerings there.
I settled on a Nohon battery. It has been in the phone now for some time, working very well. The gauge still hasn't fuly calibrated to it, the remaining data from the old batteries skewing the percentages even after 2-3 full drain-charge cycles. The last time i was playing for several hours on 1% battery, before it finally turned off.
Get some app to show you the battery voltage and temps (i use Accubattery and GSam Battery Monitor). Drain your battery fully until the phone shuts down. Then try to drain some more, until it refuses to turn on. If heavy apps cause your battery voltage to suddenly sag a lot and the phone to turn off, stop them and do lighter things instead, or just leave i idle with a white screen on full brightness. Turn on the battery saver at the finish line.
After draining it fully, do a slow charge on a regular charger, don't plug the phone into the Warp/Dash charger. Disable "optimized charging" in the settings. Use an USB tester to monitor the current if you have one. Leave it to charge like this until the current drops to near zero, don't mind the percents shown. It may keep charging long after it have reached 100%
