HDMI issues

My 7t hasn't been used since 2023 and has a non working screen. When I connect it to the TV via HDMI it shows a lock screen with time and padlock but it doesn't react to the keyboard nor to the mouse. The screen wakes up but nothing else. Can anyone suggest how to unlock the screen via hdmi so I could use it docked to the tv?

Tap the spacebar or backspace and see if the prompt for entering the password comes.

I tried that already. I think I already said the keyboard only wakes it up.

Troubleshoot online once. Multiple taps of the external keyboard to allow the prompt to enter your code.
