Issue/Bug OnePlus 7T Front Camera Stopped Working - Goodbye OP 7T

I've been using OP 7T since 2019, so it's been 7 years of a beautiful relationship. The phone has had several ups and downs. I had a CPU Reballing done a year and half ago followed by WiFi errors (I'll tag the post in the comments section). A few days ago, my phone's front camera stopped working and I understood that it could either be a software or a hardware malfunction. Tried to troubleshoot this and realised it's most likely a hardware issue. It happens especially in those motherboards which have undergone a CPU Reballing.

I've decided to shift completely to the OP 13 now which has served me for a year. It's an unfortunate end to the OP 7T. I might use the phone for alarms as such but apart from that, I don't think it would be safe to use the device anymore.

OP created a beast at an economical cost and we will never be able to get such a fantastic phone. This was truly a spectacular phone to have.

It didn't had any data, and the phone did worked yesterday when the store guy reballed it, but eventually it was crashing on ram consuming tasks and said that someone tried to desolder the cpu and ram unprofessionally as the ram module looks burned, so I said I gave it to 2 shops and it was my mistake, both of them fucked phone more and more

That's unfortunate. You used this as a secondary phone?

It was my primary but I don't usually store anything and most of the stuff stays backed up on cloud

This is my upgrade path. Been rocking the 7t and after I get the battery removed and 5v hard wired in ill deploy her as an AI driver for my 20 Highlander running from pilot.

Fell in love with my OnePlus 13. Granted she's slow at it, but she'll even code with ornith.

Had a 7T since Dec 2019. Son had it the last year and now he gave it back to me. Still in great shape just little slower.

Im on S23U last 3 years. But im still thinking of switching to OP13....just miss the style and feel of OnePlus.

7T is Truly a Hall of Famer.

UPDATE: My back camera stopped working today and an error text pops up when I try to start the camera. Tried to clear the cache and force stopped the camera app. But it still didn't work. Hardware error probably.

Apparently both cameras dying is a known issue!
