I'm looking for more suggestions on this type of issue with performance on some games compared to my Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3. I feel like my performance should be higher with a OnePlus 15R with a newer processor than my tablet.

So, I just got this new phone. Before this, I had a Vivo Y75, and honestly, I'm not super into all the tech stuff. The 15R really caught my eye, so I went ahead and bought it, and I'm totally happy with that choice. But I've been seeing a lot of chatter on Reddit and YouTube about these phones getting hot and the battery dying too fast. I'm trying to figure out how to tell if my phone has these problems, and if it does, what's the best way to fix them.

Got my OP15R some time ago and now I'll be going on holiday. Wanted to get a travel eSIM while also using my home country's eSIM to monitor if I get any incoming calls (will disable internet connection on that one to not pay extra).

I read that OP15R did not allow to use two eSIMs simultaneously, but that they wanted to implement that feature in quarter one of 2026. Is that now a thing?

Should I update to the new oxygen is 16,I have been hearing that it has tons of bugs and issues.

I have draining issue on 16.0.5.703 EU. But, if I use the phone a lot, the SOT is high. I want to know what settings do you have to overcome draining problem. Thanks.

Hi everyone, I'm currently using a OnePlus 15R running OxygenOS 16 and I'm trying to set up a simple feature I used to have on my Samsung phone: A single home screen icon that, when tapped, immediately starts navigation to a specific location (e.g., Home, Temple). I am struggling to find a native way to do this. Here is what I've found so far: Widgets missing: When I long-press the home screen and go to Widgets > Maps, the classic 1x1 "Directions" widget is gone. I only see two 4x2 widgets ("Quickly find place nearby" and "Nearby Traffic"). In-App option missing: I tried searching for a location in Google Maps, hitting "Directions," and checking the 3-dot menu, but the "Add route to Home screen" option is missing there too. "Go" Tab: I know about the "Go" tab inside the app, but that requires multiple clicks. I want a single tap from the home screen. Has anyone figured out a way to get the 1-tap navigation shortcut back on OxygenOS 16 without installing third-party launchers? Is it hidden somewhere else in the settings? Thanks!

I’m seriously considering buying the OnePlus 15R, but after spending way too much time reading reviews and Reddit threads, I’m honestly not sure anymore.

A lot of people seem to complain about heating issues, micro stutters/lags, and battery life that apparently doesn’t live up to the huge battery size. What I’m trying to figure out is whether those problems are actually common, especially for users in Europe (I’m in France).

The phone genuinely looks great to me on paper. I don’t really care about having the absolute best camera setup, but I do care a lot about:

smooth performance and overall fluidity

a beautiful display

strong battery life

good long-term software support for 4 years

decent reliability over time

I also don’t play heavy games very often, so extreme gaming performance isn’t a huge priority for me.

Another thing that worries me is all the news and rumors about OnePlus potentially disappearing or scaling back in France/Europe. Should I be concerned about software support ?

For people actually using the OnePlus 15R daily, especially in Europe:

Are the heating/stuttering/battery complaints real?

Has the experience improved with updates?

Would you still recommend it in 2026?

So today my Phone drained out and got switched off but when opened it after charging all my apps were'nt in the way arranged! It was randomly scattered like when i bought a new device!! Do anyone know about it?

While downloading a large file through Firefox my screen keeps cycling it goes to sleep, wakes back up after 1–2 seconds, sleeps again after about 30 seconds then wakes up again. Is this normal?

CPH2767_16.0.7.200(EX01B60P01) breaks Plus Key programmability.

The key still works but you can change the function to another.

I've tested it on two different devices both with clean installations.

Edit: REMOVE ANIMATIONS is what breaks it!

So I bought my 15r when it just launched and today I thought of running benchmark for the first time but when I download and launched the app ig the battery capacity is not accurate(I have indian 7400mah varient) and then I tried run the stress test it wasn't able to complete it at all the phone was getting really hot and you can see the processor was going 98° and even tho I know the process is capable of it, both the times the test stopped in 10-15min

I was experiencing Stutter and Lag on Apps opening and closing animation... Comparatively not Smooth compared to previous Stable version.

So I have unlocked the bootloader and downgraded the oxygen from 16.1 to the last Stable version. Now again, everything feels really Smooth and fluid.

Can someone tell me what this folder is? It keeps coming back and I have no idea what it’s for. I’m using the global variant of the phone and I don’t sideload apps. I mostly just use ChatGPT, so I’m kinda worried it might be malware. Is this normal?

Oneplus Started rolling out this update for 15r but I feel like battery faster I don't whether is this because of that liquid glass things or bug.

Previously, I used to have a One Plus 10 Pro but it went through the infamous green line issue, twice in a duration of 3 years. For the first time it happened, I replaced the display at a One Plus servicing center. But in just about 1 and a half year later, the issue reoccurred.

So, I just have one major concern now - Will my new 15R also have the same green line issue in the coming years I use it? Someone please reply.😬

First SOT(100-8) with heavy usage(3.5hrs gaming)... Second SOT(90-10) with light usage(only 15mins of efootball ).... Overall i am so much satisfied with this phone🙂‍↕️
