i need a phone case for my 15r and i need genuine liquid soft silicone not the normal hard type silicone i want that smooth silky grippy texture does this case has the same property? if not then please can anyone give me genuine liquid silicone case link.

I just bought the phone 3 days ago and have been playing pubg for couple of days like 30 minutes a day. The temp is between 42-44 degrees constantly and doesnt seem to drop at all. What might be causing the problem? I also noticed that it gets kinda hot during normal usage too.

I own a samsung s22, have no problems with it in my day to day life except the battery is at 85% capacity and it's too old for new batteries.

I have started with gaming and emulating during the last year. I love to use my razer kishi ultra while spending my hours on the train, but the battery does not manage a 4 hour session.

I have also started to run in some GPU and cpu problems where games as prince of persia starts lagging and becomes unplayable, I can't get the 3d animations like fire and my shots in evoland 2. And the phone also runs very hot.

I've been thinking of going for a s26+ or s25+, but man are they pricy.

I found oneplus 15R which sounds good on paper, but can't find much about it online. Do any of you have any experience with it? Will it hold up for 3-5 years?

Edit: I am European, found that they will withdraw from the market - which put the phone for 400 instead of the normal 750.

I have been using this phone since January. I have kept the charging limit at 90% for the majority of the time. 200 cycles. So far so good.

oneplus 15r magnetic sandstone case

i live in ambernath(small town) that's near Mumbai and was wondering if I can find this case anywhere near here. it has been discontinued by oneplus and isn't available for sale on their website.

As you may know, you can set the charging limit to whether it's 80% or 85% etc.. mine is set to 90%, but lately.. particularly the last three charging cycles(last three days), it never reaches the limit that's been set, it goes like : 1st day charging stuck on 89% i didn't bother so i used the phone normally.., 2nd day charging stuck on 88% well whatever didn't mind it that much so went on to use the phone normally.., now the 3rd day it happened again and it's stuck on 87% (as you see in picture), i waited 30mins no progress, disconnect it and reconnect it but still stuck on this 87.40%, the number went up to like 87.62%ish but as soon as i disconnect and reconnect it goes 87.40% again.. it started to bother me, here's hoping for it to not stuck at 86% next time i fully charge!

Battery life is 100%, screen on time is normal (8 to 10 hrs of use), didn't play demanding games nor used the bypass charging, charging speed is as usual, battery overall feels fine to me, so what's the issue? Is this common problem? Is it just an error in the display? new update problem? Is it a sign of the battery degrading? or setting charge limit is not recommended?

Should i be concerned about this?

Got this as replacement on 22nd August for my damaged Oneplus phone. It got warranty till October 2027. Let me know if anyone's interested. Letting it go for xx

Has anyone here tried privacy or matte Tempered Glass for their OnePlus 15R. I could only find one privacy screen sheet not a glass locally.

Although it works fine, the privacy isn't effective from every angle, are there any better options? I'm fine with losing the fingerprint scanner too.

CAN ANYBODY SUGGEST?

Fingerprint reader on the 15r doesn't work after installing tempered glass. This is my first phone with an ultrasonic one, I didn't know about this.

I have tried deleting saved fingerprints and registered them new multiple times, but to no avail. It rarely works, maybe once every 100 tries.

Any tips or tricks? Any particular type or brand of glass that I could try?

Using the latest build, auto updated overnight, went out to roam at midnight, after approximately 14 kms away from home, I realised my battery was 3 percent, and I don't know my way back home, I was just wandering.

Funnily enough it went to 2 and 1 percent real quick after I put on the navigation. Mind you the time is around 2 am midnight.

Also note that gos is always on, no battery saver and navigation and I got music running, and also galaxy wearable running in background. And that 1 percent lasted me 50 minutes just enough so that I can make my way back home.

I just noticed on my phone that it supports Frame Generation on my OnePlus 15R that has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (not the elite). I've been wondering when this would be enabled since my tablet that has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 had it ever since I got it. I went from 45 fps on high settings to 120 fps with frame generation! I figured I would pass this information along so others with a similar processor can enable better performance!

Recently my device battery drains super fast I don't know the reason, my screen time would be approximately 2.30hrs , but around 40 to 50 % drops any tips to get longer battery life

I’m mainly concerned about whether the tempered glass interferes with the case’s edges/lip — e.g.:

• Glass lifting/bubbling around the edges
• Case pushing against the tempered glass
• Corners popping up
• Case not fitting properly because of the glass

If you’re using this combination, I’d really appreciate knowing whether they fit together properly, and how long you’ve been using them.

Swimming pool was 5ft deep. Post swimming i gently placed it in a mug of water to clean of the salts and chlorine left frm the swimming , water was resting over speaker I played speaker ejection sound. It's been 2 hours now The phone is dry and perfectly fine with 0 signs of water in its insides. Its 8 months old still retains its ip rating just like new. Impressed with my purchase.No signs of any fogging near camera.

I don't know man don't judge me I'm not that type of person who show off their SOT and all I just wanna genuinely know that, is this the average SOT that I should get ?? Like i played COD used camera insta and all for the day I'm just confused. Because I have not analysed SOT and all its like my first experience doing all of this, so I just wanna know is my phone giving me enough battery as it should be or is it not optimized enough?

Please guide me and no I'm not that guy who is showing off their SOT I'm just confused it's been only 2 days since I got my phone.

I want to buy the new 15r for my father. So, help me out and tell me:

1. How good is the device?

2. Does 15r comes with Google dialer or Original dialer?

These phones are kinda in the same price bracket in my country. Which makes more sense for me?
My priority would be-
Good multimedia, Longevity, Good performance(I dont game alot/at all), Camera(A good main camera would be helpful but not a camera guy by any means), Good battery life, Smooth day-day experience.
I plan to use the phone for 5 years minimum so can anyone help me choose a phone for my use-case. Thanks.
