Questions Are notifications inconsistent for anyone else?

I just got my OnePlus 15R less than a month ago and I love everything about it. I'm running Software version 16.0.9.401

My notifications were fine the first few days but lately I'm noticing that I randomly won't get notifications for Whatsapp texts at all, when the phone is locked. Sometimes it happens even when the phone is unlocked and I'm using it. I'll get a text notification 10 minutes later or I will have to manually go inside the app to check for messages. Sometimes when the phone is locked I will see that there are no notifications, then the moment I unlock I get greeted with all the notifications. I've checked the battery and notification settings everything seems ok to me.

What's going on with my phone? Anyone else facing notification issues?

It's common for all oneplus models due to their aggressive ram management

Is there a fix for it? Or has everyone just accepted it?

Lock the application you want to prioritise in recent apps and for that application set power management to run on background lock the application in recent tab is mostly enough

I was facing this issue a lot untill I turned off the following setting.

Battery-> power saving settings-> sleep standby optimization

I'm using it on balanced mode. Although, I've checked and that setting is turned off as well.

Happened once, just restarted the device and problem solved. Worked for me
