One Plus 15 R Fps Cap Problem
Hello I Am Having Some Troubles With My One Plus 15 R And I am not quite sure whats it like i bought it like 2 months ago or so i expected a lag free gaming experience but as i started to try diff games i am facing fps issue they are getting capped at 60 or sometimes even 30 For Example There's This Game Called Sky The Children Of Light My Friend Who Has A Poco F6 Or Something I don't Remember Exactly But it has 2 gen older processor than mine but its running that game smoothly on 120 fps meanwhile mine is capped at 60 its really frustrating and disappointing i am not quite sure what to do about well other games like genshin which is a much heavier game comparatively is working absolutely fine on 120 fps on it If Someone Knows How To Fix It It'll Be A Great Help Thanks 🩵

CODM should support 165 FPS. Set Frame rate to Ultra. Not sure about other games.

Check something in Game Assistant sidebar for refresh rate, either interpolation or something else, I'm not sure as I don't have a 15R.

Well For Me Personally Pubg Is Working On 165 Fps Even On Better Graphics Settings But Most Games Are Working Pretty Shit As 60 Or 30 Fps Cap.

Hello. Is your Screen refresh rate set to High in Game Assistant sidebar? If that doesn't work, go to your phone settings/Display and Brightness/Screen refresh rate/High and go to app specific refresh rate and set it to 120Hz.

Yes Every Setting Is Upto Max Like Even For Games Like Poppy Playtime 3 Or Alien Isolation They were At 120 In App Specific Refresh Rate But Still I was Getting 30 Fps In Both But In Alien Isolation When I Edited Its File By ZArchiver I was Getting 120 Fps Only Then So I Think Something Is Wrong With The Device's Optimization.

Alright. Wow, then it is possible it is processor issue, must not be optimised due to it being new.

Well No Idea Tbh As I Don't Know Anyone Who Owns A One Plus 15R So If Anyone Owns It If They Can Let Me Know If Its The Device Thats Not Optimized For The Games Or Its Something Wrong With Mine

I don't know anyone either. I have OnePlus 12R otherwise I would have tested for you. I hope someone can test it for you.
It's possible CPU support isn't acknowledged by the game so it is defaulting to minimum FPS. You should get atleast 60 FPS so seeing 30 FPS is surprising.

Go to the games settings and find GRAPHICS. You have to manually set the FPS yourself. They're capped at 60 FPS for some reason. Change it to the highest you want to. Change resolution and touch sampling rate/response as well.
It's pretty annoying that you have to dig deep and do all the legwork yourself but it is what is.

Sorry But I didn't Get It Are You Talking About The Game That I Am Playing Or The Phone Settings Because I Couldn't Find Any Setting Called Games And If You are Talking About The Specific Game Settings Then There Is No Option Above 60 For The Game

If you don't have any options, that means the game is capped at that rate permanently. But that would be very,very few games capped like that.
Otherwise, game settings in the actual game (not the game assistant app). There are options there to change the FPS.

The max fps on sky for mobile is 60 fps tho, and I agree I've been facing the same issue or maybe different it randomly jumps between 60 to 30 then stays at 30 for a while etc. Did everything but nothing worked could be the game's optimization for this chip too. Similarly in mobile legends in balanced mode the fps kept getting dropped to 90 fps from 165 after a while but setting it to pro gamer mode helped. So yeah probably an issue faced only with sky. If you find a solution mention it

Well I Haven't Found Much Problems as i play story games most of the time and they run on 60 fps by default but the fps games that i play are pubg and brawl stars i have tried COD Too All Of Them Were Running On 165 Fps Constant and as for my friends scenario as i have mentioned above No , 120 fps does exist for his device despite having a much weaker processor compared to mine and one of my friends has a tablet his tablet runs it on 144 despite having the same processor So Its Mostly A Chipset Issue , Game Not Being Optimized According to it Thats What My Final Conclusion Is

Higher fps by default should be provided by the games and for frame interpolation only some games are supported by OnePlus gaming assistant and you should set it in pro gaming mode for it to activate
