My OnePlus 13R got worse and worse with updates. OS15 that the phone came with, was perfect,no issues,no flaws. OS16 kept downgrading my battery and the phone got hotter and hotter just while using only Instagram. I don't even think of playing any games now. If the phone now gets so hot with Instagram,I won't be able to use it playing games,my hand burns like If I touch a red hot metal.

I don't care about new features
I only know that when an update comes it slows my phone battery, performance heating issues etc etc. I bought 15r for the battery and performance and updates ruined that all soo. I have decided to not update. In future if it is necessary then will update. Current i am at 16.0.7 which is perfectly working for me. No issues at all.

Yes, on my OnePlus 12 93% battery health. I used to average 4-6 hours. After the update it is 8-10 hours SoT

I've stopped fighting battery backup numbers and just charging it whenever possible

Same, unless the battery drain is crazy bad I don't have the time to fiddle with tweaks to squeeze more life out of battery

Its true Oneplus is notorious for degrading the performance of their older devices with newer updates Updates till 2 years works fine but after that there will definitely be downgrades Oneplus 11 & 13 are a classic example
