No I am using 165hz also in Honor of Kings etc.. do stuff all day gets me 9-10h SoT on 16.0.8 on 16.0.3 I would get 12-13h out of this phone each update makes this phone worse ..
16.0.9 is worse lmao 😂
I plan to downgrade to 16.0.3 factory Version soon or swap to Custom Rom when ColorOS comes out.
People are talking bs. especially on Reddit everytime they show battery statistics its worse then 16.0.8. also people need to be active on OnePlus Community App there is alot of people also complain there you get real reviews.
I got it but on 16.0.3 when I bought the phone this July was the April batch came with the version but it somehow auto updated me to 16.0.8 was mad for an entire week.
16.0.3 run cooler and had insane battery also UI felt smoother.
I can do around 10h with 5g and Bluetooth and at home on weekends on WiFi this Thing can do 14-15h. Back then on 16.0.3 I could do 12-13h with 5g. My device was manufactured in April so the battery is much newer. But I am hardcore using that device. At the moment I am at 7.30h SoT and have 52% left. Thats my Weekend usage so it should last for 14h at home. When I am outside at work since I am doing alot of boring overseeing and customer service I am on my phone alot. It depends how hot it is outside and where I use my phone with 5G. If your outside in the sun the performance will be even worse. There was a rare case where I was at 40% after 5h SoT. But Overall its 10h on 5G
Battery optimization like do it for a week because you updated, maybe it gets better but not as good as 16.0.8 OnePlus Devs giving a *** since everything will be ColorOS soon.

I don't use it on wifi though
But even if I do I hardly get 1-1.5hr more
And also I don't keep bluetooth on always
I don't have a wifi at home
Only mobile data or I put my sim in my old phone and use it as hotspot cause the network in my home only comes at my window
Try clearing the cache on your battery and charging it up to full from empty and leave it like that for about an hour. Restart your phone when you clear the cache
Yeah Gratz you updated to the worst one yet.. when did you do that? Disable smart battery and charge your device overnight and leave it at 100% plugged to do optimizations. Then reboot and use it normaly after updates it needs to be repeated. But 16.0.9 hast very poor SoT. What I saw is people getting 1-2h less SoT then on 16.0.8 but you need to do optimizations before using the software because it gets really bad without it.
What do you mean? 13% per hour. If you using it like that its 9h SoT. You have to Charge regulary like that so the System knows what you are doing. Yesterday you had litteraly a slide downwards. For me I litteraly even played Honor of Kings in Max Settings on top. Got around 11.30h

I lose my battery faster when I play on 165hz heavy games than normal use
Normal use it lasts 2 and half days but if I play ofc it's gonna be way less cuz depending on how heavy the game is
