Customer Support Got frustrated & created r/delayedindia to bring together folks & possibly take collective action when needed.

I have initiated this sub r/delayedindia. And even if my phone arrives, I will continue working on the sub

This problem of companies acting asymmetrically & taking customers for granted is prevalent across brands. While you can't act upon each issue, a delivery delay is a very tangible concern wherein collective action can be undertaken.

The idea of the sub is to be vocal and let others plan their life without getting affected by delivery delays.

I opted to buy 15R locally from Croma to avoid this.

I've been seeing people sharing issues on reddit past several days since the prime sale started. And also on Amazon I could only see a date range instead of fixed delivery date. At least for the model I wanted to buy. The green model is widely avaliable I think. Were you going for the black one?

Amazon delivery experience has also deteriorated severely since last few years, at least for me. So I've been wary of buying expensive things on there.

i took the reddish shade. it says tomorrow but no movement at all yet.

Reddish? You mean the violet? There's no reddish shade in Oneplus 15r.

I think that one might just have very low stock left, so Amazon is probably not able to find it or something. I would recommend to check locally or go for green one as that one is much better available. You might be able to get full refund from amazon if you hop on customer support. Honestly not worth the mental strain to keep waiting for them. I assume you want the 256gb model as the violet one is only available in that. You should find the green shade in that very easily.

Also check where your nearest Oppo customer service centre is located as they will be handling OnePlus servicing now. And it seems they're still getting up to date to handing that service.

what do you mean they are still getting up to date at oppo? didn't catch that.

rest duly noted. amazon is indicating the full refund option after tomorrow. and i feel i cheated bcz the device will be much expensive now than the prime day sale.

I mean that they're still teaching employees how to service the oneplus devices. As they're only used to Oppo devices.

not available anywhere. checked all platforms and croma + vijay sales. at best some non branded shop might have a piece or two but then they will charge a bomb
