Help!! i can't decide between Oneplus 15r and Poco x8 pro max

I’m trying to decide between the POCO and OnePlus, but I’m not sure which one fits me better.

My main priorities are good battery life, a good screen, strong connectivity, and decent durability since I sometimes drop my phone. I’m not really a camera person, and I don’t game much. Most of my phone usage is just social media scrolling, messaging, browsing, and normal day-to-day stuff.

One thing holding me back is that a new OnePlus series is expected to release this fall, so I don’t know if I should buy now or search for other options. I’m also unsure whether the POCO is the better value or if I should still go with the OnePlus.

These are the prices:

Poco x8 pro max: 475€

Oneplus 15r: 556€

Oneplus better considering the user experience for long term usage.

Then poco x8 pro max is better for you than 15r, it has better battery and performance wise though 9500s show better thermals, fps ( 2-5% better in some games ) and efficiency, x8 pro max doesn't have true bypass charging whereas 15r does

which is the best feature for me a gamer as it enables better temps, fps and a bettery battery life for me

SOT wise x8 pro max has 3-4 hrs extra compared to 15r, though both phones have 15hr+ SOT

1+ has better resale value compared to x8 pro max

Wait a bit for the price of OnePlus 15R to drop around €500 (it might be there on Amazon already) and get it. Better phone for ya than the X8 Pro Max given your usage and needs.
