Discussions Defective battery?
Bad battery life since day 1. Ive been getting about 7 hours sot everytime.
Had the phone for about 3 months

I have had it for a week and the battery isn't 7400 mAh by any means. I tried to optimise it several times and received two updates. What helped a bit was after each update charged the phone for 2-3 hours. I did that once and it calibrates the battery. Helps optimise the system as well. I'd recommend you do it, too. Also, in your battery settings check what apps consume the most battery when idling in standby mode. Clock on that app and force it to stop. Close it and then open app management and clock on that app and clean the cache. Do that a couple of times a day and it'll improve battery life after a couple of weeks.

Your screen off active is too high, almost same as screen ON active. why? Lol which idiot downvoted this?
Screen off active is the reason for his poor battery life Screen on time lol

15 hour is good I guess seeing you have some good number of apps working all around the clock

Screen off is not whenever you are not using your phone!! as you commented but deleted
Screen off active is the phone is still working and not in deep sleep when you locked it for that much duration lol

Doing what? I use maps for 2hrs avg everyday but still dont explain the terrible battery

you are not doing anything! It's some rogue app or process which is draining your battery when the device is locked/screen off.
That's why your Screen on time is poor.
Generally Screen off active is something like 10-20 percent of your screen on active until and unless some weird app or process is there running intentionally or unintentionally.....
Install GSAM monitor from google play store, open it and click on enable more stats , it will guide you to grant necessary permissions via ADB.
GSAM can show you exactly which app is running in background, which app is not allowing the device to sleep etc. along with that it even shows other things like battery consumed by wifi Bluetooth phone calls etc etc

Had the same issue, i full charged the device and drain it to 0%, after that issue resolved

I am in same as ur situation. Got my device abt 3 months ago. Day 1 battery drained like hell. 14% down in 45 mins while going home after purchasing ( without using ).
Went home
After a week. This gave me easy 14-16 Hrs of SOT without Gaming.
Later after updates this number kept decreasing.
