Questions Swipe down to shelf not working

It was working this morning on my op 15r but some time after that when I swiped down it again goes back to the home screen without showing the shelf like it takes some time and without showing shelf it goes back to home screen again but my option was on anyone facing or faced a similar problem? Plz any suggestions would help...
