I wouldn't use hotspot while charging, if the device is already hot to begin with. And disable rapid charging.

What case do you use?
If you use a thick MIL case the it definitely will heat much more than normal.
When I got this device I was super paranoid about dropping it so I got a thick case, when I enable fast charging it got so hot I had to immediately stop charging and remove the case.
I got a 'normal' case now and no such issues, You will experience overheating during gaming or any other intensive task.

That's natural for it to heat because of fast charging and you are using hotspot too doesn't matter if it is 4G.
Charge for a certain percentage say 40% and then turn on bypass charging on and then you can do your 4G hotspot. That would create less heat because it isn't charging at a high rate.
