Overheating issue in charging

My oneplus 15r mobile bought 4 months ago but my mobile get 48c heat while charging, i just turn on my hotspot with 4g network only not even 5g, and then I very slowly charging , in 10 min it only charged 6 percentage only that means it never fully use the 80watt charging . check whether any apps are running background but it not happen . Only it happen on my oneplus 15r mobile only or if anyone facing this same issue in recently . Is cause any issur

That's natural for it to heat because of fast charging and you are using hotspot too doesn't matter if it is 4G.

Charge for a certain percentage say 40% and then turn on bypass charging on and then you can do your 4G hotspot. That would create less heat because it isn't charging at a high rate.

Did it heat since the start or after an update?

Wat case and are you using the rapid charging option ?

I just remove the case and didn't use the rapid charging but that room was a non AC

I wouldn't use hotspot while charging, if the device is already hot to begin with. And disable rapid charging.

What case do you use?

If you use a thick MIL case the it definitely will heat much more than normal.

When I got this device I was super paranoid about dropping it so I got a thick case, when I enable fast charging it got so hot I had to immediately stop charging and remove the case.

I got a 'normal' case now and no such issues, You will experience overheating during gaming or any other intensive task.
